Evaluation of quality according to the guide of the German camping association (Deutscher Camping-Club e.V.).
In 2005 the German Tourism Association (DTV) judged the camping site “Am Freesenbruch” as very good. That means 5 of 5 possible stars.
There are several reasons for that:
The campground is not only located in a very attractive and quiet surrounding of a wonderful landscape. It is also equipped with all sorts of comfort. Additionally, an excellent service on the campground will be your holiday’s final completion.
There are app. 320 sites on the area where you can place your Motor home, your trailer or your tent in order to test our campground. That was a good argument for the German Automobile Club (ADAC) and the German Camping Association (DCC) to recommend this campground in their catalogs.
In 2000 and in 2006, the Golden Plate of a nationwide contest among campgrounds emphasized the good reputation of the destination “Am Freesenbruch” near Zingst. Located in the Northeast of Germany on the Zingst peninsula, the site is surrounded by a beautiful countryside and the Baltic Sea. Between the old Hanseatic cities of Rostock and Stralsund, it is an ideal base to explore the many attractions close by.

The restaurant “Zum Deichgrafen” and the Camp store with fresh buns and sandwiches in the morning will supply any kind of food seven days a week. Or how about a cool beer on the café’s terrace?
Modern and convenient restrooms, showers and laundry facilities will meet any requirements. Of course propane bottle exchange, chemical disposal, supply and equipment for all kinds of campers are parts of our service as well.
